From Dance to Pilates, Diane has always had a passion for movement.
She received her B.A. in dance from Ball State University and then went on to dance, teach and choreograph around the Chicago area where she was born and raised. Through dance, she discovered Pilates and after falling in love with it, went on to receive her Pilates certification in 2006 from the person who first introduced it to her, Dolly Kelepecz of D.K.Body Balancing. In 2008, she moved to St. Louis where she began teaching Pilates at various studios around the area.
After attending the Chicago Pilates Intensive in 2009 she has dedicated her continuing education to following the classical Pilates method. It was there that she met Mary Peacock whom has been an integral part of her journey and whom she currently teaches for at The Pilates and Yoga Center of Lake St. Louis in Missouri. There she resides with her husband, Bill, and two young boys, Logan and Caleb.
Diane is excited to be a member of the APU, honored to be on the Board of Directors and co-chair of the Membership/ Benefits Committee, and looking forward to the future of this organization!
